Infant Massage      (Sa) September 20, 11 a.m.
Join Toledo Hospital nurse Margie Smith and learn infant massage techniques for your baby, ages three weeks to pre-crawling. Infant massage strengthens bonding, soothes and relieves a baby's discomfort, relaxes baby, promotes better sleep and contributes to a baby's physical, mental and spiritual development. Parents are asked to bring a blanket and pillow for baby to the class.

Peek-A-Boo! I Love You!      (Sa) September 27, 11 a.m.
More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. In this special class, uncover more ways to say "I love you" using American Sign Language, bubbles, and parent-baby dances. This Kindermusik Village Class for infants newborn to 18 months old also allows you to learn how music improves the child development process.

Every Child Ready to Read – Early Talkers      (Sa) October 25, 11 a.m.
Current research has proven the critical role of parents and caregivers in developing language and early literacy skills in children beginning at birth. This special 90-minute class will focus on developing literacy skills in children who are just beginning to talk and has been designed for parents and caregivers only. This program will be provided as a video-teleconference between Main Library/Children’s Library and the West Toledo Branch Library.
