Think of the Bookmobile as a mini-library on wheels. Traversing Lucas County with bi-weekly and monthly visits to community centers, the Bookmobile carries a wide assortment of materials, including:

• Fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults
• Large print books
• Current magazines
• Books-on-tape and CD
• DVDs

Bookmobile stops include public housing sites, nursing homes, senior housing complexes and shopping centers.

The Book Hauler is a unique vehicle designed to transport a large quantity and variety of materials into senior residential and health care facilities. This allows patrons to browse the carts at their leisure, selecting the materials that appeal to them. The Book Hauler also delivers requested materials to patrons’ rooms.
